HDMI is active on monitor but suddenly VGA Inactive on monitor, Was working but just stopped

HDMI active but suddenly VGA inactive  though have computer ribbon on bottom of monitor screen but content of photo file which i can access on HP laptop screen but it is not showing up on HP monitor
