Hi community, hope somebody can help me.
I've got a HP Pavilion 15-cw1948nd. I'm trying to connect an Acer g226hql screen via my USB-c docking station (Hyper USB C 6 In 1) to my laptop without success. When I connect this screen to the HDMI port of my laptop, it all works fine. But via the USB-c docking station unfortunately not.
I'm sure that the combination of my docking station and my Acer screen isn't the issue, since it works when I connect it to my DELL laptop. So I'm pretty sure the problem must be the combination of this docking station in conjunction with my Pavilion laptop.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this issue? Many thanks in advance!

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06401315
It has one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does not support video out. You have use an adapter. Does your adapter give you that option ?
Regards.
