HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0023dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I was having issues after upgrading Window 11 (password box would not pop up at sign in, tried everything to fix it), and eventually had to downgrade back to Windows 10 through a custom installation. However, now I'm running into an issue in that my touchscreen/pen are no longer working. When I checked the device manager, the HID compliant touchscreen and ELAN EzTouch filter are nowhere to be found, even after clicking "show hidden". I have the  Spectre x 360 so I know for a fact that it is touch screen compatible.

Is there a way to fix this? Is there a certain driver I need to re-download? I'm nervous to do any Windows updates because that's how I began having issues with my laptop in the first place and I don't want to end up in the situation again where I can't log into it.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hello,

I have an HP Pavilion X360-14-cd2053cl Running Windows 10 Home Edition and about two months ago my touch screen stopped working. Last night, I upgraded to Windows 11 thinking maybe it would get fix and it did not. HP Diagnostics claims all Driver are up to date. The driver version es Ez 1.0.0.8.  Likely the previous version worked fine and then this update messed it up. It doesn't matter if it is Windows 10 o Windows 11. A user said he tried Ez 1.0.0.9 and it worked for him (did not say where it got the driver) but somehow it reverted back to Ez 1.0.0.8 and it stopped working. Apparently is an issue with the driver and not a hardware problem. HP, please update the driver.

Thanks in advance
