hp 1030 g4

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping for some help with my HP 1030 G4 laptop's fingerprint sensor. When I try to use Windows Hello, I get this error message: "Sorry, something went wrong. Close Windows Hello, and then try going through setup again."

I've already tried several things to troubleshoot, including:

  • Restarting the laptop
  • Updating all drivers, including the fingerprint sensor driver
  • Cleaning the sensor carefully
  • Re-enrolling my fingerprints in Windows Hello settings

Unfortunately, none of these steps have worked. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue with the HP 1030 G4 fingerprint sensor, or has any other suggestions for fixing it.
