HP Pavilion 15-CC0053 3TS79UA#ABA

Hello, I purchased a HP Pavilion 15-CC0053 3TS79UA#ABA and when setting it up, I can see that maximum display resolution is 1366 *  768 instead of 1920 x 1080 as shown on both seller and HP's website. I have run an windows update but the problem remains. Is there any way I can solve it or is it an mistake from HP? Thx

Must be something is not right here. The reviewers only say it has 15.6 inch 16:9, 1366 x 768 pixel 100 PPI, AU Optronics B156XW02 V0, TN LED, AUO20EC

Thanks but if you look in HP's product specification, it is clearly written 15.6" diagonal FHD IPS BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit touch screen (1920 x 1080) for this model

How is it possible?

Hi,

It must be an error in the spec page as if we look in partsurferwhich lists the parts of the notebook it states

L25330-001LCD PANEL 15.6 HD BV LED SVA TS

 which would be 1366x768

http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=3TS79UA

All spec sheets seem to be wrong:

You should contact HP support directly in your country and see what they have to say. If you identify your PC in the link below you will get contact options. I usually like chat if available.

Hope it helps,
