I've just received this monitor and I'm trying to connect it to a gaming console via an HDMI cable. Every time I try to connect them, I get a screen indicating the Monitor Status reading: No Signal. After that, it shows the message: Display going to sleep.
I've tried connecting my laptop to the monitor and got the same response, so I'm sure that it's not my console. The HDMI cable that I'm using worked fine with my TV, so I'm not sure if that's the issue.
I've also tried to access the monitor's menu by using the external buttons, but no matter what buttons I press, I get the same screen from before.
In summary, the only thing can do with it is turn it on.
Help would be much appreciated, thanks.

My only suggestion would be to try this troubleshooting step given here in "The message is the only item that displays on the screen":
