Hi i have bought this laptop HP 250 G10 and have connected two new Acer Screens one via HDMI and one via a USB to HDMI dongle. The screen connected via hdmi works but not the other.

When connecting the usb to hdmi to a tv it works but not the Acer screen....it did say when connecting to the acer screen via hdmi "hdmi 1.4"

@StevieMclaren

You mean USB-A to HDMI dongle/adapter ? Does it have DisplayLink certified symbol ? Normal monitor and TV are two different things.

Regards.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, yes its usb a to hdmi, should it be displaylink certified? I will need to check this out.

The adapter does work on another monitor but just not these particular acer one.

Thanks in advance
