Hi, all. I have an HP notebook - HP-15ay516tx. (4GB RAM, 2GB AMD R5M430, Win 10)
For your information, after purchasing it, I had Windows 10 (64 bit) installed on it since it had DOS installed natively. However, I couldn't get the HP drivers that come with every HP laptop since they were removed during the install of the Windows. So, I downloaded most of them from the support page, for eg - HP support assistant, HP system event utility etc.
Recently, however, I tried downloading and installing the HP coolsense and HP 3D drive guard; out of these two, HP coolsense is installed and working fine, I think ( I don't know if my laptop supports it though, but for some reason it's working fine, so I assume it does). However, for some reason, HP 3D drive guard can't be installed.
So, my question is does my device not support 3D drive guard and HP coolsense?
I would appreciate any kind of insight on the matter.

Hi:
Your model supports HP Coolsense.
Your model does not support 3D driveguard unless there is an Unknown Device listed in the device manager with a Hardware ID of ACPI\HPQ6007.
Or if the 3D driveguard device is already installed, if you go to the device manager>System Devices category, scroll down the list of devices to find a HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor.
The HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor is the 3D driveguard device.
