HP Active Pen G3 is connected but not drawing

Hello, I've recently gotten an HP Active Pen G3, I've managed to connect it to my laptop (HP Envy x360 15) and the buttons seem to work but it won't draw. I've tried changing a bunch of different settings and installing drivers but nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone know how to? Thanks in advance!

The Active Pen G3 is not generally compatible with the Envy.

This pen is compatible with several models of the the Elitebook, one or more Probook models, and a couple of other business class machines.

Provide your exact computer model or Product Number and we can check for a compatible pen.
