Product: HP laptop (Model No. 14-ek0006ne)
In the 2nd week of Jan'2023, I visited Dubai. I was carrying my old HP Pavilion x 360 2-in-1 laptop, Model No. 3168NGW, SN# [Personal Information Removed](fully satisfied with the performance), as I am allowed to do work from home. Unfortunately, my laptop stopped working due to an on-off switch problem. Because of office protocol, on an emergency basis, I decided to buy a new HP laptop (Model No. 14-ek0006ne) from Dubai itself.
When I returned to India, I realized that the backspace key and touchpad were not working properly. For this reason, when I tried to contact the customer service network in India, after a thorough online test, they accepted that the keyboard issue was genuine. But, they forced closed the case (HP Case Number: [Personal Information Removed]CRM:0058156003539) by giving an excuse that spare parts of this model are not available in India. In addition to that, the customer care executive ridiculously suggested the only option to fix the problem is to go back to Dubai.
I am literally jeopardized, now how to solve this petty issue. I am shocked that despite being a loyal customer of a big brand like HP, I am feeling totally helpless just because I am not based in the Middle East. I am perplexed how HP promises an International warranty without a proper after sales support. This is a big monetary loss for me, not for my fault.
