I just had the same thing happen to me after I accidentally left it on all night standing up on its side. To make matters worse,  the mouse was uncontrollable and my screen is broken so the touch part only works on the top right hand section of because I dropped it and cracked the screen. Finally I was able to maneuver the mouse around to shut it down and then restart, and now It's OK. Don't know if this is helpful in any way, but just in case......
