Hello,

 

I've had this laptop of mine for almost 4 years now and have never once had an issue with it. About a week ago, I heard a cracking noise on the left-hand side of the device and noticed that the display is trying to separate from the rest of the back of the monitor. It's also causing issues with opening and closing it, the hinge coming loose. I don't know what to do now. I don't have the money to fix it and everything concerning my college life is on this, along with all the documents concerning my father's funeral and any legal documents concerning him and his estate.

 

I am in desperate need of fixing this problem as I really need my laptop for pretty much everything right now. If someone could point me in the right direction of what to do, that would be greatly appreciated.
