Is anyone else having problems with the hinges of their HP envy breaking? This morning I saw some little screws just fall out, as if they weren't attached to anything and then I heard a creaking coming from my laptop. The screen cannot shut, and I have pressure points on the display which is a real setback, as it's messing with the touch screen feature of such an amazing laptop! I'm kinda sorta heartbroken because I love this computer and I spent a grip on it, so if there's anyway to create temporary fixes, please let me know. I know it can't be completely fixed, I took it to a few repair places and I was told it would cost more than the laptop itself to handle such strenous hardware issues! I just don't have the money to replace a computer this expensive, but I'm outside my warranty. Had I known this would have happened, I would have skipped this laptop all together. I think I'm done with HP products after this, because my mother's apple laptop has no problems and she's had hers for longer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that this is a Hardware issue. Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
