Hi

 

I also use a HP ENVY Laptop 13-ah0003na and am completely unable to even detect my chromecast. All of my other devices, including Windows 10 PCs can detect and cast to it however this laptop cannot. I have exhausted the google support process and they only thing they can suggest is contacting HP to understand if there are any restrictions on my device that are preventing it.

 

Please Help...

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you tried rebooting your Wi-Fi router by unplugging and plugging the power source?
  • Are you getting any error message No Cast Destination Found?
  • Have you tried casting from the Google Home app?
  • Can other devices cast successfully?
  • Check whether your computer clock is out-of-sync with current Internet time?

Make sure the Chromecast device is using the 2.4 GHz band.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
