Had an issue with my
HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx monitor has begun to crack in the lower left hand corner due to a what I believe to be a hinge that has failed.
I have really taken great care of my notebook from the day I bought it from Best Buy. It has been solid and have enjoyed using it. I've had it for over 2 years now and it doesn't have a ding or scratch on it.
The other morning when I opened my monitor I noticed that for some reason the monitor was a little gliche because it was showing that something was activating a touch on the screen. further saw that the monitor was coming undone from that aluminum backing in the lower left corner. i wasn't able to snap it in place. gingerly was able to open that monitor all the way to the 360 position and could close it but the monitor began to crack in the lower left hand corner.
At this time I'm still able to use the notebook but the hinge is definitely compromised and not trying to open or close the monitor, screen would crack even more. Computer is working, touch feature is not has anybody else had this issue. Really disappointed that this has happened.
