Longtrail,

The update waiting to be downloaded is as follows:

Intel High Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

Softpaq #: SP73373

Version #:  10.18.15.4281Ep3

Size 176.53MB

Would this be the latest and greatest to resolve this verticle line issue?

Thanks

Hello @bsummers12,

Thank you for the quick reply!

Try downloading the following driver, and let me know if the issue is resolved: sp73373.exe

This should help to resolve the vertical lines issue.  I hope this helps.

My problems started with a display driver crashing and recovering.  After several phone calls with HP and going back to another driver I started getting the same lines when the laptop went to sleep and would have to reboot it.  After several hours of an HP tech person trying to fix my laptop I had to end up sending it to them to fix it.  Good luck.  It's very frustrating.  Haven't gotten my laptop back yet so I don't know if I'll ever know the final fix.

I would suggest doing a restart to refresh your computer and using the device manager to access the display drivers and clicking on the 520 device and updating the driver from there. I was also unable to update from any other means.

I went back to updates and the update no longer shows available. So far the screen is acting normal. Thanks for all the help.

Looks like x360 is a CRAP machine...

I have a problem and HP Support is even crappier... It has been 3 months and they STILL have NOT fixed my issue... All they say is "Don't worry!"

Here is a link to my hardware issue...  touchscreen self activates...

I have been experiencing the screen pixelation issue when the laptop is woken up from sleep for 2 weeks now but updating the Intel HD Graphics 520 driver via control panel device manager did the trick for me also.

The old driver was dated July 17th 2015 and the new one (version 20.19.15.4360) is dated December 21st 2015 so it's been out for a while now.

I was surprised to be honest. As this seems to be a known problem, HP really should have pushed out the new driver automatically through the 'Support Assistant' portal. They seem to be pushing out loads of other updates all the time...

Anyway, thanks for the tip and let's hope that no other major problems appear as my laptop is barely a month old and the screen pixelation issue after sleep was really annoying.
