I bought this laptop back in June of 2021. I have never had issues with HP prior to this date, but when I decided to buy my HP Envy, it was the beginning of the end. Within the first year, I had issues with my screen protruding from the casing, literally tearing itself from the casing every time I would open the laptop. Luckily, at that time, I was still under the 1 year buyer's warranty, so I was able to use the online chat feature to speak with an employee and ship my laptop away to have it repaired at no cost. However, I am now experiencing the same issue where the bottom right of my screen is more separated than it ever was two years ago, and I fear that it will continue to get worse. I spoke with a customer service representative today on the phone, only to be told I would have to pay $49.99 for a one-time service to even send the computer in for repair. On top of that, I would have to pay anywhere from "$300 to $600" for the computer to be repaired. I had told the CSR that I have had issues in the past and that this issue arose from the previous issue, but was told that it did not matter and that service fees and any additional costs were not going to be waived. I have been a loyal customer of HP for over a decade, and I am growing evermore frustrated with the service that is provided. Can someone assist me in this issue please?
