HP ENVY x360 does not activate tablet mode when flipping the screen 180 degrees. I already did the sensor test and there is no error, I followed several instructions on the web but I can't find the fault. Thank you so much.

Hi @brianz0r,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're facing issues with your HP ENVY x360 not activating tablet mode when flipping the screen. Let's try to troubleshoot this issue. Here are some steps you can follow.
Check Tablet Mode Settings: Ensure that your tablet mode settings are configured correctly. You can do this by:
- Open the Settings menu.
- Go to "System" and then "Tablet."
- Make sure the settings for "When I sign in" and "When this device automatically switches tablet mode on or off" are configured to your preference.
Update Drivers: Ensure that your device drivers, especially the sensor drivers, are up-to-date. You can do this by:
- Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
- Look for sensors in the device list.
- Right-click on the sensors and choose "Update driver."
BIOS Update: Check if there's a BIOS update available for your laptop. BIOS updates sometimes include fixes for hardware-related issues. Visit the HP support website to download and install any available updates.
HP Support Assistant: Use HP Support Assistant to check for and install updates. This tool can automatically identify and download the latest drivers and updates for your HP device.
Calibrate Sensors: If your laptop has sensors for tablet mode, try calibrating them. You can find this option in the device settings or control panel.
Check Rotation Lock: Ensure that rotation lock is not enabled. You can find this setting in the Action Center or in the Display settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
