HP ENVY x360 laptop hinge broken

The left hinge of my HP ENVY x360 just broke, the screen popped loose down in the corner and two screws fell out together with some plastic "crumbles".

My laptop has hardly been used . I have not dropped or misused it in any way, rather taking really good care of it, but based on the number of complaints around this same problem on this forum it is obvious that the hinge design is really poor.

How do I raise this with someone senior in HP?

I request you talk to HP Phone Support and they will help you to sort it out as it requires repair.

1. Click on this link -  https://support.hp.com/us-en

2. Select the country.

3. Enter the serial number of your device.

4. Select the country from the drop-down.

5. Click on "Show Options".

6. Fill out the web form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
