Hi
I have recently bought an LG ultrawide 38 inch monitor, 38WN95C. This monitor specs include a thunderbolt 3 slot and so it is stated it should connect to a computer for audio video and the monitor can via this connection act as a USB hub for peripherals. I'm not tech save at all so would be great to get some help and advice. I tried connecting my office HP elite x2 tablet pc G4 to the monitor through thunderbolt 3 slot but am not getting any signal at all in the monitor. The pc does have a thunderbolt 3 slot on it and I'm using this (the top first slot) to connect to the monitor. It only seems to charge the pc with no signal . What am I doing wrong or is there a compatibility issue between them? I'm of course able to get video etc when using an external HP hub.
Just to add, Windows version on the HP elite is windows 10 enterprise.
Thanks for any advice and help.
