I have a HP EliteBook 840 G6 connected with a HP Docking station USB-C G5 with 2 monitors with only HDMI connectors. Since che docking has only 1 HDMI port, I used an HDMI-DP adatper to connect the second monitor.

The problem is that this one gives me No Signal.

I tried to change the ports and monitors but the problem always remains on Display Port.

Since I have no admin rights on this PC, i cannot update drivers or software but I doubt is a driver issue.

I tried to unplug the monitor, leave the DP connect monitror the only one connected and restarted the PC but the issue persists.

The weird thing is that on display settings, Windows recognize a second moinitor but with no informations:

The options are grayed out and if I try to change the dropdown menu options, they have no effects and always reset to "Display only 1".

Can you help me?

PS: I tried the monitors on an HP 640 G9 and both ones work great
