I have a customer who has an EliteBook 850 G8 and we bought them the G5 HP dock to go with it.  Unfortunately I cannot get the laptop to output display at all to the two monitors connected to the dock.  Everything else on it works, including USB devices in the dock (keyboard and mouse), network and even the charging of the laptop.  Just no display to the two screens.

I've got an older HP ProBook 430 G8 that can output display via the USB-C port and even though that isn't Thunderbolt (it has the display logo on it instead), that outputs to the displays fine via the same dock, so I know the dock is working.

Any ideas?  I've updated all drivers and BIOS on the EliteBook and updated the firmware on the G5 dock itself.  I'm pretty sure it's the EliteBook where the issue is.  Only thing I've found online that may be relevant was this YouTube video about the Thunderbolt security settings in the bios (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKdj7dxvNFA).  Trouble is, I don't have those settings in the BIOS anywhere, so I can't change the Thunderbolt security settings.  There just isn't any.
