Hello
I have an HP Elitebook 840 G7 connected to HP USB-C Dock G5 and three HP 241v monitors. When I connect all three, the 3rd monitor will only allow up to 720 x 576 in the dropdown menu in display settings while the monitor 1 and 2 are 1920 x 1080.
Everything I have tried yields the same result. Connections I have tried:
- All three connected via HDMI from monitor using HDMI cable connected to a Display Port splitter using an HDMI > Display port adapter. Splitter is connected to a single display port on the docking station.
- Two monitors connected to the display ports on the docking station and the 3rd connected to the HDMI port on the docking station.
- I have replaced every cable
- I have swapped all monitors and cable connections to make each one as monitor #3
It is always monitor #3 that has the resolution issue. I have updated all drivers for my laptop and confirmed no new updates are available. The only thing I have not tried is a new docking station.
Could it be the docking station or should I try something else? Thank you in advance for your help.
