Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having a problem with the display brightness on my laptop. System brightness is set all the way up, power mode to best performance, but the display brightness is not sufficient to work outside in cloudy weather. My 8-year old Dell has superior display, compared to this. Has anyone tried replacing the unit under warranty?
