HP Elitebook X360 G3 1030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP Community,

My HP Elitebook X360 G3 1030 hinge broke and display screen was unseated (quite out of the blue) and I was a little surprised (and shocked honestly) to see many other users complaining about the same yet I can't see any recall/post from HP about what should now be a known issue (just a quick Google search gives a number of results of users complaining about the same)

What is the best solution here since this laptop is not in warranty?

Thanks,

Moiz

HP Elitebook X360 G3 1030 machines were built like a tank, they are military graded machines. I don't believe normal usage would break it.

Someone must have steel hands

Just my 2 cents

Regards.

@Banhien, All the people who are complaning have steel hands? I personaly think its quite naive to think that a laptop no matter how well it is built couldn't have a build flaw. So a plane (Boeing 737) which would certainly be most throughly tested and where people's lives matter and sports cars (Porsche 911 GT3) could be found wanting and have build flaws, a $2000 laptop couldn't? Do you work for HP or get paid by them to keep HP bashers off the forum :D?
