HP ENVY Laptop PC 13t-ba100 CTO

Hello,

I would like to connect an external monitor to my HP Envy 13-BA 1000 Laptop. I have tried two monitors (both of which work when connected to my other Lenovo and Dell laptops) - one monitors has a HDMI cable out of the back, which I have a converter to USB-C and the other is DVI to DisplayPort which I convert to USB-C.  The adapters all work (and I have tried multiple adaptors) with the same result - no external monitor is detected.  What do I need to do to get this working? The diagnostic does say that my drivers are up to date and the USB-C port is supposedly functioning.

Thank you in advance!

Sandytechy20,

I tried the instructions you send and my laptop port does not detect a monitor when I plug it into the USB-C port. Nothing is detected.  The monitor works with other laptops.  My Intel graphics driver is up to date, as is my OS version of Windows 11.

What is the next step to getting this working?  This is my first time trying the port since purchasing the laptop directly from HP.
