HP Envy 27s 4K Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have HP Envy 27s 4K monitor connected to Dell XPS 15 9560 via USB-C to Display Port cable which support Thunderbolt 3 and 4K/60Hz (this one: https://i-tec.cz/en/produkt/c31cbldp60hz-2/). When I set monitor to DP 1.1, it works on 1440p/60Hz, but when i change it to DP 1.2 (obviously to use 4K/60Hz) laptop detects screen normally, all settings works, but monitor is just black with backlight. When it's connected and i try to go into monitor menu, can't open it. It starts turning that little menu on and off. I can't resolve issue. (No I can't use HDMI because Dell 9560 has only HDMI 1.2). I also tried Monitor Factory reset in menu but didn't help.  Laptop also supports Display Port Alt Mode (DP 1.1 setting works. Does something similar happened to someone or do you know how to fix it?

Thank you.

@99mike199

Please don't ask me why BUT for some high end products I WOULD NOT mix products from different vendors. They always say STANDARD but standard within their products, not others - vary sad.

Just my 5 cents

Regards.
