Hi @famouswilliam,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the screen of your HP Envy 34 All-in-One is fading darker on one side, there could be a few potential causes for this issue.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check for external factors: Make sure there are no obstructions or external light sources affecting the screen. Move any objects or devices away from the screen that could be casting a shadow or causing uneven lighting.
  • Adjust display settings: Go to your computer's display settings and check the brightness and contrast levels. Ensure that these settings are balanced and not favoring one side of the screen over the other. You can also try resetting the display settings to their default values.
  • Update graphics drivers: Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can sometimes cause display issues. Visit the HP support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your specific model. Install the drivers and restart your computer to see if the issue is resolved.
  • Perform a power cycle: Shut down your computer completely and unplug the power cord from the back of the HP Envy 34 All-in-One. After a few minutes, plug the power cord back in and turn on the computer. Sometimes a power cycle can help resolve temporary display issues.
  • Run display diagnostics: Many HP computers come with built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify and fix display-related problems. Check the HP support website or your computer's user manual for instructions on how to run the display diagnostics.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi. I tried all of the suggestions with no luck. Could it be the screen? How would that be linked to the wireless charger not working. Should I order a new screen? Thank you.
