HP Envy Hinge Split Open

Hi, the screws to the hinge in my hp laptop simply slid open and the screen came out. A quick search on the internet reveals the issue is extremely widely prevalent. It appears it affects all HP Envy products and there is enough open threads on the same. There seems to multiple open court cases regarding the same. Is there a resolution on this? I am a student and I am looking for a quick resolution. Can you please help? I am in the middle of my internship in India.
