My notebook works perfect. The screen is normal when I use Explorer or other things. But when I open a program and see an 'pop-up' of the program it is very very very small. It's almost unreadable. Can anyone help me how to change this to a larger screen? Thank you very much.

Hey @superlip,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! This is a great place to find solutions and help from our community!
I understand you're having pop-up issues on your HP Envy Notebook. I'd be happy to help you with that, however, to better assist you, I do need to ask some more information.
What is the Model number of the Notebook you're having difficulty with?
When did this issue begin to occur?
Is there any error message?
Have you tried any steps on your own?
By pop-ups, do you mean web based, or system pop-ups?
Please keep me posted.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. To be more clear: It's happening from the moment I have this notebook (which is one month now). And what is happening: Everything works clear on the notebook. And is visably alright. But when I open an program it's opening itself in a very small version of itself. So I can't read the text and the menu/buttons are very very small. It is hapenning with every program I open.
Can you please help me?
I have Windows 10 which was installed on the Envy notebook 13 inch. Thanks!

HI,
I am having the same issue. bought HP Envy 13 recenty. Model No: 13-d000ne.
Besides this issue, on some of the pop-ups the text is not very sharp and the text edges are smudged. Noticed this when installation google drive as well.

If I could get you both to follow this document on Changing Display Settings, Background Image, Icons, and Screen Saver (Windows 10, 7) and let me know of the results. If it allows you to, you may want to change to a higher, or lower resolution.
Please keep me posted.

Hi,
Enclosed you can find some of the prt screens. You will see that Word is working like it should, including the size of the menubars. But the pop-up and the program for - for example - MovieMaker is terrible. Unreadable. And this happens with other programs as well.
Can you let me know how to fix it? All the settings are place as 'recommended'.

Hey @superlip,
It would appear that everything is really small and hard to read because 3200x1800 is an extremely high resolution. Have you tried lowering the resolution?
Please keep me posted.

Too bad, it is not doing the trick. The shortcuts on the desktop are way bigger, but the size of the program (such as on the last picture) keeps in the same very small size.
Is it a bug? Can I go back with this to HP? I really want to have this fixed asap.
Thanks for your help so far!
