Hello! I have an 15m-ds0011dx notebook that is, sometimes, booting to a black screen. It only happens when starting up with the charger disconnected. You can hear the windows 11 startup boot sound although it does not even display the HP UEFI logo with the spinning circle. The only way to get around it is to do a hard shut down and power it back up again which it will work, even on battery power. I have tried all sorts of things to get it fixed. Ran system diagnostics using the UEFI diagnostic tool from HP. Everything tests good on full system test. Checked to make sure all drivers were updated properly through HP Support Assist which it says they are. I did however run a bios update because there was a newer version available and it updated fine. I have no idea what the problem could be. I even went as far as running passes with Memtest86+ and checked cpu temps with HWmonitor. Everything just checks out great and the system actually runs windows very well. And this issue only happens about 50% of startups made from battery power. It works everytime when plugged in. Battey tests good and is not swollen. It has windows 11 on it currently and is up to date.. Any ideas or tips would be appreciated. Thank you.
