Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My model # is hp-14dq0032dx.  I have 2 monitors both with HDMI cords.  I plugged one directly into the laptop and the other I bought a docking station with multiple type ports that connects with a USB-C plug.  The monitor connected directly to the laptop works but the other one connected to the adapter does not.  I'm not a computer guru but I can usually connects things and they will work...LOL.  Not sure what the problem is here.  I've been doing a lot of digging but can't find the answer.  I would appreciate any help you can provide.  It's not my drivers, I updated them or it isn't my settings on my laptop, they are set to multiple devices and extend displays.

I can NOT find its original specs, only

Its USB-C port is hopeless therefore you can NOT connect to a monitor with or without dock/hub. If you wish to connect it to 2 external monitors, please use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable (you are using now).
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter
