HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D120AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a 15.6" HP Touch-Screen Laptop w/ Intel Core i7, 16GB Memory, 512 GB and SSD. I currently am using 1 external monitor and need to purchase and add 2 more. Currently, my display settings only show monitors 1 (laptop screen) and 2 (external monitor) in the settings. Further, I've attempted to add a 2nd external monitor in the past, but it was not recognized in the display settings. Can this laptop accept a 2nd and 3rd external monitor? Is a docking station required for this?

Your machine is one of the following over 110 machines

              https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/product-specs/hp-15-f2000-laptop-pc-series/model/2100381734

For example:       HP Laptop 15s-fq2625TU

The have SAME ports. It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Other option (USB-A dock) :   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751

Thanks for your detailed reply. If you'd consider answering these 2 follow-up questions, I'd appreciate it.

1. Can this laptop accept a 2nd AND 3rd external monitor, without using my HDMI port? (yes or no)

2. If yes, is a docking station required? (yes or no)

My single HDMI port already is being used for my active external monitor and I am not trying to charge my machine.

Thanks again for your expert assistance.

Answer for both Yes - In total you can get 2 + 1 monitors as mentioned above. I know some docks support 3 external FHD monitors but your machine is NOT compatible with them

Awesome, thank you. We're at the final question!

Do you know of any dual-extender monitor product (2 screens) that is not FHD?

There are upwards of 50 products available for purchase through Amazon, but every single one of them is FHD, including this sample below.
