Will my hp laptop:
1. HP Notebook 14-dq1020nr,
2. Windows 11, and
3. USB C port: 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate; port;
: have both video and power when hooked up to a USB C enabled monitor. I am trying to decide if I spend the extra money for USB C enabled monitor. I know it does not work with a HDMI enabled monitor through the docking station I have, but unable to verify if it would work with a USB C enabled monitor with no docking station - i. e. direct connection. . If it does not, then what is the benefit of having the USB C port listed above provide? Please advise.
Question 1: If I acquire any USB C enabled monitor that supports both power and video via USB C, will I get both power and video with my notebook plugged into the monitor with a single USB C to USB C.
Question 2: If not then is there a way to get both power and video without a power chord?
Question 3: If neither 1 nor 2 what benefit is the USB C port providing
