Hello, so first things first, I bought this laptop from NewEgg a few months ago, it is outside the return policy.

I have an HP Omen 17" with RTX 3070.  I have scoured the internet for answers, but I have come up empty handed.

The drivers will not install.  I have deleted the drivers and went through the whole process numerous times.  Now when installing the drivers, it gets about 25% installed and the computer crashes with the stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

I have tried to do numerous fixes, none have worked.  Additionally, when trying to download possible drivers from HP's website, it does not recognize my serial number.  I'm not certain what to do next other than throw this in the trash and cut my losses.

Does anyone have the answer to this problem?

Thank you.

What is your machine ? You have to use fully tested drivers from HP. Why you need s/n to download drivers ? It is much easier to search drivers from the series of your machine.

Regards.
