OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck0000 (3V6M3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, my new Laptop arrived today and I was excited about it but I've noticed that the display is quite yellowish like warm colour tone. Is it supposted to be like that or is it a manufacturing error? Night light is turned off in case anyone is wondering

Would be nice if someone could help me out.

Thx!

Hi@Apexasd,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing display issues with the OMEN 17.3 Inch Gaming Laptop PC looks yellow screen.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Try increasing the brightness and check if it works.
  • Check with external monitor if has the same issues.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.

Try and check in Bios using the F10 key if the screen is yellow in Bios. To enter Bios, click restart and keep tapping the F10 key and then turn on the PC at the same time to enter Bios screen.

If the issue persists in Bios then it is a hardware issue on the screen.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
