Hello,
This is incredibly frustrating. I purchased this $400 monitor last week and I'm trying to play a game on it. The screen flickers when I use freesync with my nvidia gpu. Disabling adaptive sync in the menu stops the flickering. This is NOT an acceptable fix, freesync is standard these days and I paid a hefty sum for this monitor to work perfectly.
I see other users have had this issue. Is there a fix? This is absolutely unacceptable for a product at this price point. This did not happen on my older crappy pixio monitor I got from amazon that used freesync. This is specific to HP's hardware/software.

@neal301, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Omen 34C Flickering!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand the frustration with the flickering issue while using FreeSync with your NVIDIA GPU on the HP Omen 34C monitor. Here are steps to potentially resolve the problem:
Install the G-SYNC Driver:
- Download the G-SYNC driver from NVIDIA Drivers.
- Install the G-SYNC driver.
Enable G-SYNC in NVIDIA Control Panel:
- Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Navigate to Set up G-SYNC.
- Select your monitor.
- Ensure the Enable G-SYNC, G-SYNC Compatible checkbox is selected.
- Ensure the settings for the selected display model checkbox is checked (if applicable).
- Click Apply and restart your monitor.
Enable FreeSync from Monitor Settings:
- Press the settings button on the remote control or the middle button of the OSD controller.
- Select Display & Sound > Picture > Advanced Settings > Game Option > AMD FreeSync Premium or Adaptive Sync, and then select ON.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
