Hi I am trying to find how I can get the HID Complaint Touch Screen Driver.  It is not available on the HP website nor have I been able to find it.  I have updated all drivers, BIOS and firmware etc.  It hasn't worked since shortly after I purchased it a few years ago but WFH I thought I would see if I could resurrect it.  Everything else is up and running.

I understand that the HP Omni HID-Compliant Touch Screen Driver not found in Device Manager.

 

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

 

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

 

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

I realise it is a standard response but in this case I had already done all of that.  Clearly this is/was a common issue with the Omni 10 ☹️.  I have been working on this issue for 2 weeks now trying everything suggested other than bending the tablet or opening it.

In that case, I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

 

 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

 

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
