Product: HP OmniBook Ultra 14 inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC 14-fd0000 (A4AD0AV)
I am experiencing an issue with one of the USB-4 ports on my HP laptop. My laptop has two USB-4 ports, and while one functions normally, the other has stopped recognizing USB-2 devices.
Here are the details of the issue:
- The affected USB-4 port still charges the laptop and passes a video signal without any issues.
- However, it does not recognize USB-2 devices, whether connected directly or through a hub.
- USB-2 peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, and other devices do not work when plugged into this port.
- The other USB-4 port functions correctly, recognizing all USB devices, including USB-2.
I have already tried basic troubleshooting steps such as checking Device Manager for driver issues, updating firmware, and testing multiple USB-2 devices, but the issue persists.
