Been having an intermittent issue with this laptop that is barely out of warranty. Sometimes, the display flickers when using either the mouse or the touchpad. The flickering will get so bad that the screen will eventually go completely blank. If I use the touchscreen, it has no problem. To get the screen to come back on I have to shutdown and power off the system.
I have done all driver and Windows 10 updates. I have uninstalled the display drivers and reinstalled them. It still happens.
Driver version is 26.20.100.7926
Any ideas?

Hi@derwood5555,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand when you power on your laptop the screen keeps flickering on your laptop.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Does the issue persist in BIOS?
As you mentioned when you power on your laptop the screen keeps flickering on your laptop.
If the issue does not persist in BIOS try updating the graphics driver and BIOS on your PC.
Try performing a BIOS default on your PC and check if it helps.
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Also, Uninstall the graphics driver from the device manager and install the latest drivers and BIOS from the links below.
Link to update the BIOS.
Also, update the graphics driver using this link.
You can try updating the drivers on your PC using an HP support assistant.
Refer to this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.
Refer to this article to further troubleshoot display issues with your PC.
If the screen is flickering in BIOS, it is certainly a hardware issue with your PC.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I've already done all this. The BIOS was updated a couple of weeks ago and I've used the HP Support Assistant to update all drivers on the machine.. I've also reset the BIOS defaults and saved.. And I've removed the graphics driver and reinstalled it.
The flashing issue does not happen in the BIOS.
It is an intermittent issue that happens AFTER windows has come up. It only happens when the mouse or touchpad are used. It does not happen if the touchscreen is used. Again the Intel UHD Graphics driver version is 26.20.100.7926
**NOTE** I found Intel UHD 620 driver 30.0.101.1069 on the Intel website.. I have downloaded and installed it since HP doesn't have anything more current.

Hi@derwood5555,
`We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to be checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
