HP Pavilion ( 15-cs0072wm) Screen Plastic Frame Detachment
04-01-2021 01:33 PM - edited 04-01-2021 01:37 PM

Hi!
Currently I am dealing with a screen frame issue on my HP laptop (I just bought two years ago) in where the bottom left corner is kind of detached. It doesn't affect any software stuff, my PC runs fine and normal. However, every single time I go to open the lid, the bottom left corner black plastic piece opens relatively wide before I use my fingers to apply pressure to clamp it down a bit. I can see the bit of "glue" or "paste" that holds the frame and the screen together struggling to stay attached and coming off.
I'm not sure what caused the problem besides me just opening and closing the lid like every normal laptop user. It's in amazing condition (besides the frame issue obviously) and I treat it like my own kid! Things like this really annoys me because I do my best to handle my electronics with great care and its only been two years. On top of that I don't heavily use it on the daily. Must be the manufacturers that don't seal these frames properly or something.
My question is, what do I do about this? Does HP fix the problem for free?(*laughs in doubt*)
P.S. - I attached some pictures. I couldn't help but to tape it down until I find a way to actually solve the issue.
Thank you,
elvis
