Hi @Ndiwe1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out regarding the screen flickering issue on your HP Pavilion 27-d1023na All-in-One PC. We understand how important a stable and reliable display experience is, and we are here to assist you with the necessary steps to resolve this matter.

1. Update Graphics Drivers

Ensure that both the Intel integrated graphics and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 drivers are up to date.

2. Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates and install any available system updates.

3. Adjust Display Refresh Rate

  • Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
  • Scroll down and click Advanced display settings.
  • Ensure the refresh rate is set to 60Hz, which is the recommended value for your 4K display.

4. Perform a Hardware Diagnostic

HP provides a built-in tool to test hardware components:

  • Press F2 repeatedly during startup to access the HP UEFI Hardware Diagnostics.
  • Select Component Tests > Display.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the test.

If the test detects an issue, please note the Failure ID code and share it with HP Support for further assistance.

5. Test External Display (If Applicable)

If your unit supports external display output:

  • Connect an external monitor.
  • If the external monitor functions without flicker, the issue may be with the internal display or its connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
