15-ec1073dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP Pavilion - 15-ec1073dx and I was wondering if it were possible to upgrade the stock display that it came with. I believe the stock display was 220 nits, slim (3.2 mm) L71938-001

As far as I can tell, this display 250 nits, slim (3.2 mm) L71939-001 should easily replace the stock display and give better nits since it is also a 30 pin display.

However, I would love to replace the display with this one 300 nits, eDP 1.4, ultraslim (2.6 mm) L71941-001 , but since it is a 40 pin display? If it is, does that mean I cannot replace it with my stock display?

Thank you!

Okay perfect.

Would it be possible to install the L71941 screen as an upgrade since it's 144 HZ?
