I've seen this issue a few times on this forum so I'm assuming its a manifacturing flaw. I own a HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15 and I have been using it for over a year now. However for the last month, I have noticed difficulty opening and closing the laptop and after searching carefully found out that the hinge is broken and some portion of the hinge looks exposed and some portions of the screen case looks a bit exposed also. Because of this, the laptop cant close at all, or if it does, it closes incorrectly. I have never dropped the laptop and never caused any physical damage to the laptop due to negligence. My question is, will warranty cover the repair of the broken hinge and exposed screen case, since its such a known issue with this laptop? Thanks in advance.
