Hello,
I bought a HP Pavilion 15-cc5xx a week ago. I had the verseion with the intel i7 processor but it had problems with some screens. Overall everything was sharp and good, but some screens (even from windows itself) were blurry and not sharp (at least not the sharp you would expect from a full HD screen). For school I have to work with Python (a programming software), so you can clearly see the words are not at sharp as it is supposed to be, this is really tiresome for my eyes.
So I tried to contact HP, but I couldn't find a Dutch number (I live in Belgium and there's only a french number available). So I went back to the store so they could contact HP for me (but they also couldn't). So they just gave me a new laptop (the same model). This model had the exact same problem. So I tried the intel i5 model (I thought maybe it was a production problem in that series of laptop, but here we are). Now I have the HP Pavilion with the intel i5 processor, it has the same problem and I have no idea if it even is fixable.
I have updated Windows completely and updated all drivers, doesn't change a thing. Hopefully someone can help me, because otherwise I have to find a completely new laptop.
Greeting, Selin

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand your laptop screen is blurry,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you check if this issue appears on an alternate/external monitor?
If you haven't, Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,
if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,
if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here
If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)
If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers & update BIOS using the above link,
If it does, Contact HP to replace the LCD/Repair the computer:
If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
