Hey Guys,

So I was looking to purchase a laptop and came accross the HP Pavilion x360 Convertible - 15-er1000. I couldn't seen any indication that the laptop had the ram soldered in and was wondering if you could upgrade the ram yourself. I have 32gb of laptop DDR4 ram lying around which would be compatible with the laptop assuming you could upgrade on your own.

Hi:

The specs indicate that it has removable DDR4-3200 memory and the max is 2 x 8 GB.

The Crucial memory report indicates the notebook will support 2 x 32 GB of memory, so most likely 2 x 16 GB of memory will work.

Hey Paul,

That was my assumption but didn't want to pull the trigger on it yet. I was told by a sales rep it wasn't but didn't think that was true since it didn't have the "onboard" indication that other laptops did. But thanks for the help!
