Is ther a way to insert a family photograph DVD into the HP Pavilion x360 for viewing?  I don't see any such way on the side of the PC like most others have.

Hi,

No, it does not have Optical Dics Drive (aka CD/DVD drive), you have to use an external drive if you wish to view DVD on your computer. Few examples:

Other option: use other computer which has ODD to extract DVD and move file(s) to your computer to view.

Regards.

While there are many different models in the HP Pavilion x360 line, it is probably that there is no DVD/CD drive.  If the complete model number is given, then it can be confirmed but many of the newer laptops from many manufacturers do not have a built-in DVD/CD drive.

Sorry @banhien, typing at the same time

I don't use the DVD drive that often, mostly at home or in my camper and my carry sleeve has a pocket for the inexpensive DVD player/ burner so I always have it if needed.  I don't know about HP but Amazon has lots of choices and almost all are under 50 dollars.  I would rather use it separate as it would make it heavier and thicker all the time.
