Hi, I've just bought a HP Pen but the buttons are not working on it and the HP Pen Control App is saying it is not compatible with my notebook (HP Envy 360 - ag0502sa) however the HP website say that this Pen is compatable with my notebook.
When I press the buttons nothing happens although I seem to be able to write with it in onenote - just the buttons seems dead.
I've provided picture below of the errors and my notebook is running the latest HP Support Assistant and is up to date in terms of HP software and also Windows 10 updates.
Its a little frustrating as I spent quite a while deciding on this and thought I had made sure this was compatible before purchasing it based on the information on your website.
I would apprieciate someone looking into this for me and or giving me some guidance or an explanation why it's not working as expected - its kind of taken the shine of the experience as I was looking forward to this arriving....
The HP Pen Compatability Website is showing the following - web address: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05166879
and the error I get with HP Pen Control is this:
Thanks for your help!

Not sure about the Pen Control software - it "seems like" the software is talking about this pen model, but maybe not. ?

If you are sure this is supposed to work with your pen, try removing the application from the Windows Apps list (Windows start) and get a new copy of the software from the Windows Store.

- Pen(s) compatible with your computer are marked with a “checkmark” to the right of your computer model, in the column(s) under the Pen name / description(s).
