I have just bought a new Spectre X360 13-AW2024NA. It was advertised as including an "HP Tilt Pen" but what it actually came with was the "HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen".
1.There is no sign of the pen in Windows Devices.
2.The pen buttons cannot be configured using the HP Pen Control App that was installed on the Spectre.
3.Every response I have seen from HP says bluetooth pair the pen by pressing the button on the top. The HP Tilt Pen has a button on the top but the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen has no button on the top.
The pen draws on the Spectre screen but how do I get it so that I can configure the buttons using HP Pen Control?
Thank you.

OK, I'll answer myself. It seems that the HP Pen Control app supplied with the Spectre does change the operation of the buttons but that for them to work the pen must be within about 2 cm of the screen. So not very helpful if you thought you might use it to toggle Play/Pause. You might as well just touch the Play/Pause icon on the screen.
I'm not the only one who has been asking this question.
