I too am having the same problem. Of course, this happended 8 DAYS after my warranty expired, and now my computer keeps crashing intermittently while working. A solution would be greatly appreciate, and resetting to 3+ year old drivers isn't a solution. Especially as Windows is trying to push me to a new operating system that definitely wasn't around when these drivers were released/last updated

You should go to HP support for your laptop and download the BIOS firmware update.  That fixed the crashing for me.   The graphics driver is unrelated to the crashes for me.

Have the same problems for years as well, we have a failure product joined developed by Intel & AMD.

Yeah, I think this laptop is no longer supported. The graphics driver hasn't been updated in years and it blocks updating with AMD's drivers.

This is disgraceful.   I will never buy another HP laptop if this is the kind of "support" they provide for their devices.   Basically, these drivers have never been updated since the laptop was new, and there is no apparent way to update them outside of the HP non-support system!

I was able to get the driver below working on the HP Spectre 15-ch000.  But only the 27.20.21003.11000 version.  The other versions keep giving a GL error when I tried installing them.  That driver is at least only a bit less than a year old.   It's still really annoying that their HP Spectre 15-ch000 has essentially been abandoned by HP.  I will no longer buy HP.  They do not have good support for their products.

If anyone figures out how to install the later versions of the Intel / AMD Radeon drivers without the GL error, please share your revelation.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this has been resolved yet? Every time I try to update it from AMD it rejects it with error 182. I've also tried with Intel as it comes up on their driver and support assistant, but still no joy, and HP? Well ... they seem to be the ones blocking it.  I have also completely rebuilt my whole system and still it pops up. Can anyone help?

You can install the specific version at the link below.  The other versions I have not been able to work.  if that does not work try reinstalling the original intel and AMD GPU drivers from HP first and then try the driver link below.   I could only get version  27.20.21003.11000 version to work.  But at least it's only a year old as of this post verses the 5 years for the original drivers.

Unfortunately, this doesn't help at all.

My laptop is now running Windows 11 and won't allow me to update the driver to anything older than it already has. The notification keeps popping up telling me to upgrade the driver ...

I can't even install the HP Support Assistant. The laptop upgraded to Windows 11, I didn't exactly have much choice in the matter. HP should really support this. Is there anything I can do? I've tried resetting the laptop and everything, but I keep getting the Intel message popping up.

It is VERY annoying.

Please can someone help?
